Terms of service

By using Freestyle Swap you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

1. The service

Freestyle Swap lets you upload a photo and receive an AI-generated video in which the person in the photo appears in a template clip. Videos are produced by third-party AI models; results vary and may not perfectly reproduce the person's likeness.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the service.

3. Consent and acceptable use

Each time you generate a video you confirm that:

• the photo shows you, or an adult who has given you permission to use their image this way;
• the photo does not show a minor;
• you have the right to upload the photo.

You must not use the service or its output to:

• impersonate, harass, defame or sexualise anyone;
• mislead people into thinking a video is real footage, including for fraud, political manipulation or fake endorsements;
• infringe anyone's intellectual-property, privacy or publicity rights;
• break any law.

We may suspend accounts and remove videos that break these rules, without refund.

4. AI-generated content

Every video is synthetic. When you share one, don't present it as genuine footage of real events. We may add provenance metadata or a small label to output.

5. Credits and payments

Videos are paid for with credits bought in one-time packs. One credit makes one video. Credits don't expire and have no cash value. If a render fails, its credit is returned automatically. Prices are shown before checkout and payments are processed by Stripe. See the refund policy for refunds.

6. Your content

You keep any rights you have in the photos you upload. You give us a limited licence to store and process them, and to send them to our AI providers, only to render and deliver your videos. Subject to these terms and to the rights of others in the template clip, you may download and share your videos for personal, non-commercial use.

7. Template clips and third parties

Freestyle Swap is an independent service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by the people who appear in the original clips or any social-media platform. Rights holders who have a concern about a template can contact us and we will respond promptly.

8. Availability and changes

We work to keep the service running but don't guarantee it will always be available or error-free. We may change or discontinue features; if we shut down, we will refund unused credits.

9. Disclaimer and liability

The service is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
